David Craig Hill 71, of Grafton passed away at home Saturday January 28, 2012 following a long illness. He was born December 14, 1940 in Sandusky, OH, and moved to the area in 1962. David was a Sandusky High School graduate; he attended Kent State University, The Cleveland Institute of Art, and various photography schools. David worked as a photographer for Moto Photo. He enjoyed photography, golf, travel, reading, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of thirty three years; Janet K. (nee: Hill), a daughter; Suzanne Snodgrass (Nick) of Elyria, a step daughter; Diane Carruthers (Rob) of Elyria, two step sons; Greg Christoff (Jackie) of LaGrange, Mike Christoff of West Salem. Additional survivors include ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his parents; Harold and Helen (nee: Beamer) Hill, and a brother; Lynn Hill. Funeral services 7:00 PM Tuesday immediately following visitation at the church. Vicar John Ramsey will officiate. Burial will be private.
