David Allan Donaldson 78, of Elyria passed away Friday February 7, 2014 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake following a long illness. He was born August 23, 1935 in Bessemer, PA. Dave served in the U.S. Army, and retired as a foreman from Harshaw Chemical in Elyria following twenty nine years of service. He was a life member of Amvets Post #32. Dave loved sports; especially playing golf and basketball. Survivors include his wife of thirty one years; Josephine C. (nee: Lauricia), two daughters; Janelle Dick (Jay) of Delta, Sherri Osterland of New London, four sons; Charles Donaldson of Elyria, Michael Sullinger (Seaneen) of Pebble Beach, CA, Scott Sullinger (Joann) of Olmsted, Twp, Gary Sullinger (Barb) of Crestline. Additional survivors include a sister; Joan Grauso (Ernest) of New Castle, PA, a brother; Marvin Donaldson (Betty) of Warren, thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
