David Andrew Dawson 55, of North Ridgeville (formerly of LaGrange) passed away Wednesday May 4, 2016 at O'Neil Healthcare in North Ridgeville following a brief illness. He was born December 1, 1960 in Elyria, and resided in Lorain county all of his life. David was a 1979 Keystone High School graduate, and worked in sales with the hardware industry. He was a member of LaGrange United Methodist Church, and enjoyed nature, hiking, and stamp collecting. Survivors include his mother; Loretta Dawson (nee: Lipstraw) of Elyria, a brother; Brian D. Lawson of Lorain. David was preceded in death by his father; Arthur K. Dawson, and a sister; Christine Marie Dawson. A Celebration of David's Life will be 11:00 AM Wednesday May 11, 2016 at LaGrange United Methodist Church 105 West Main St. LaGrange, OH 44050 where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM.
