Daryl K. Jackson of Northlake, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on March 9, 2024 at the age of 77. Daryl was born on February 14, 1946 in Elyria, Ohio to Kenneth and Dorothy Jackson. After graduating from Midview High School, he worked as sales manager for Norlake Manufacturing Company until his retirement. He married his wife, Karen (Lyndes), in 1966 and had three children; Daryl "Chip" Jr. (Cindy), Dawn (Timothy) Wojciechowski, and Aaron (Christopher) Jones. He enjoyed going for drives with his wife in their Corvette later in life. He is survived by his wife and children as well as nine grandchildren: Kennedy, Sabrina, Jordan, Daryl III, Hayden, Stephanie, Kerrigan, Nolan, and Evan, and sister, Janet. A Celebration of Life will be held from 10 AM – 12 Noon on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Road in Elyria. A private burial will be held at Fields Cemetery in North Ridgeville. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that a tree be planted in Daryl's memory.
