Darlene Wisner, a lifelong resident of Elyria, passed away at age 74 on Saturday, May 11, 2024. She attended Elyria Schools and worked at various businesses. She was a manager at Jack's Lounge from 1979 to 1981 and Elyria Eagles Club for many years where she was also a member and also held the position of Trustee for the Women's Auxiliary.  At the time of her passing, she had been working at Elyria Walgreen's for many years. She enjoyed cooking, reading, crossword puzzles, music and shopping. She is survived by sisters, Sandy (Ben) Piatt of Seffner, Florida, Judy (Rick) Henry of Sarasota, Florida; grandson, Richard Rodgers of Michigan; "sister" friend, Janet Hillbery, and many nieces and nephews. Darlene is preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Marie Norris; mother, Geri Arnett; father, Willard Wisner; sister, Patty Pennell; brother, Neil Spaulding of Clearwater, Florida, and companion of many years, George Eastrom. There will be no services. A private burial will take place at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Elyria at a later date.
