Darla Jean Holtzman of Elyria passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at the age of 84. She was a graduate of Lorain High School. She retired from the Elyria City Schools, where she worked in the food service department. She was a member of the Elyria Eagles 431. She enjoyed doing ceramics, going to casinos and internet cafes. Survivors include her children William Holtzman Jr.(Denise) of Elyria, Kathy Wood (Ron) of Wakeman, Lori Foss (Mike) of Amherst, Karen Cole of Grafton, Steve Holtzman (Mary ) of Avon; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, siblings Paul Edwards of Sheffield Lake, Kaye Ash of Port Charlotte, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband William Sr.; partner Ralph Lake; sister Phyllis Maslinski. Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Tuesday ,January 21, 2020 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
