Daniel T. "Tom" Hall Jr., 36, of Elyria passed away Friday January 13, 2017 at University Hospitals Main Campus in Cleveland following a one year illness. He was born August 17, 1980 in Oberlin and was a lifelong Elyria resident. Tom was a 1998 Elyria High School graduate and attended Lorain County Community College, studying graphic arts. His interests included reading, writing, painting, playing video games and he enjoyed wrestling. Survivors include his mother, Donna Wilmoth of Elyria; brother, Christopher Hall of Elyria; grandparents, Hayward and Elaine Wilmoth of Grafton; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel T. Hall Sr.. Funeral Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday January 19, 2017 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria, where the family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services. Pastor Bob Smalley will Officiate. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
