Daniel William Frawley 87 passed away Saturday November 7, 2015. Daniel was born on January 2, 1928 in North Olmsted, Ohio to Arthur and Della (nee McRae) Frawley. He was a dedicated family man who also served his Country in the United States Army where he spent time in Korea. Daniel was a member of Amvets post # 32. He enjoyed building his own homes , working with his tractor and deer hunting in addition to bowling , gambling and playing cards. Daniel spent most of his time watching the Indians and Buckeyes , spending time with his family and traveling the Country. Survivors include his companion of 20 years Lois Brasse , his brother Jay (Jean) Frawley , children Barbara (Roger) Tompkins , Nanette (Sean) Cain , Della Frawley (Owen Butler) , Danielle (Carlos) Davis , Joseph (Kristine) Frawley , Robert Miller , Thomas (Krish) Miller , Diana (Mike) Beetler , Dawn (Dave) Hein and Bill (Laura) Frawley , 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Catherine (nee Glenn) , parents Arthur and Della , brothers Howard and Calvin (Georgie) and son Dennis Frawley. Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Tuesday November 10, 2015 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626 , where services will be held at 7PM. A private family burial will be held at a later date , with full military honors being provided by VFW post # 1079.
