Dana M. Lusher, 44, of Elyria beloved daughter of Todd and Rosemary Lusher passed away Wednesday August 29, 2012 at her home following a 2 year battle with cancer. She was born May 5, 1968 in Lorain and was a Elyria resident for most of her life. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Elyria, a 1986 Elyria Catholic High School graduate and attended Lorain County Community College. In addition to her parents, survivors include her brothers, Todd (June) Lusher and Daniel (Suzy) Lusher both of Elyria; friend of many years, Doug Burgess of North Ridgeville; canine companion, Brutus; uncle, Henry Yourkevitch; nieces, Emily, Kate and Rachel; nephews, Anthony, Cole and Dylan; great-niece, Charlotte Jane Alcorn. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bardo and Ada Zocchie and paternal grandmother, Dorraine Yorkevitch. There will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday September 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Jude Church 590 Poplar St., Elyria. The Rev. John Vrana will be the Celebrant. Burial will be private.
