Dale L. Harris Jr. 46, of Elyria passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday December 11, 2015 following a long illness. He was born July 18, 1969 in Berea, OH. Dale attended Columbia High School and graduated from L.C.J.V.S. in 1987 and worked as an electrician. He treasured spending time with his boys, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working. Survivors include his wife of nineteen years; Melisa R. (nee: Smith), three sons; Jeremy D., Nicholas A., and Sean L. all of Elyria. Additional survivors include his father; Dale L. Harris Sr. (Jeanne nee: Lindsey), his mother; Jacqueline Harris (nee: Cavins) both of North Ridgeville, four brothers; Robert Cavins (Jessie) of Colorado, Douglas Cavins of Cleveland, Leslie Cavins of North Ridgeville, David Harris of North Ridgeville, a sister; Sandra Cavins of Eaton Twp., and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM Tuesday December 15, 2015 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
