Craig Butler, 63, of Amherst, Ohio, passed away on November 4, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on October 30, 1962, in Grafton, Ohio, Craig brought light and laughter to everyone he met. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years before beginning a second career with the United States Postal Service, where he retired in 2021. Craig devoted his life to caring for his daughters and ensuring his loved ones were always supported. His passion for golf, coffee, a good beer, and his playful sense of humor brought joy to all who knew him.

Craig is survived by his loving partner, Brenda Hodge; his daughters, Sara Butler and Megan [Aaron] Roberts and many dear friends who were blessed to share in his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and Clyde Butler.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8, from 2–5 PM at The Foundry Kitchen and Bar in Elyria. Guests are encouraged to honor Craig by wearing their favorite Ohio State gear or golf polo.
