Constance M. Logsdon, (nee-Leonard), 83, of Elyria passed away Saturday June 2, 2018 at her home following a brief illness. She was born August 31, 1934 in Cleveland and was an Elyria resident for most of her life. Constance was employed by the Elyria City Schools for 26 years, retiring as a secretary in 1995. She attended St. Mary Catholic Church, and enjoyed quilting, reading and spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughters, Rose (Al) Gibson, Donna (Keith) Bryner and Linda Logsdon (Jim Bryner); sons, Stephen (Alice) Logsdon and George (Kristen) Logsdon; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Dunn and Claire Hite; brothers, Jim, Colin and Steve Leonard; her beloved canine companion, Molly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen in 2011 and a granddaughter, Julie McCourt. The family will receive friends Thursday June 7, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
