Colleen R. Taylor (nee Finegan) 60, formerly of Grafton, passed away Thursday October 1, 2020 at Fairview Hospital in Cleveland following a brief illness. She was born June 25, 1960 in Elyria. Colleen was a 1978 Midview High School graduate. She loved life and spending time with her family. Colleen was a sports mom; she loved animals, the Cleveland Browns, working outdoors and singing. Survivors include her daughter, Courtney M. Gregory (Patrick) of Grafton, her grandson, Gavin, and her granddaughter, Olivia. Additional survivors include her mother; Shirley Speaker of Carlisle Twp., two sisters; LuAnn Ensign and Rebecca Finegan both of Elyria, her brother; Mark Finegan of Elyria, three nieces; Heather, Claire, Hannah, and her nephew; Zachary, her step sister; Susan Speaker and two step brothers; Richard and David Speaker. Colleen was preceded in death by her father; Louis Finegan, and her stepfather; David Speaker. A Celebration of Colleen's life will be held on Saturday October 10, 2020 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626, where Reverend John Jackson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM. Burial will be private.
