Clifford E. Siegert 78, of Elyria passed away Thursday August 15, 2012 at The Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake. He was born July 24, 1934 in Detroit, MI. Clifford was a Redford High School and Wayne State University graduate, and had served in the U.S. Army. He moved to the Avon in 1963, and to Elyria in 2006. Clifford retired from NASA as an engineer in 1995 following thirty two years of service. Survivors include his wife; Emily (nee: Townsend), two daughters; Marianne Pestoff (John) of Arden, NC, Claudine Siegert of Ashville, NC, two sons; Clifford Jr. (Kindra) of Chardon, OH, Eric (Colleen) of Avon, OH, Additional survivors include eight grandchildren; Marissa, Clifford, David, Lauren, Allison, Jacob, Jenna, Sophia, and a sister; Ellen Forrester (the late Tony) of Howell, MI. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; Reinhold and Esther (nee: Brown) Siegert, and two brothers; Milton (Gloria), Clarence (Barbara).
