Clerdon Ray Hornbeck 96 of North Ridgeville passed away Wednesday March 2, 2016 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born June 9 , 1919 in Sand Run , West Virginia and was a graduate of Buchanan High School in West Virginia. Clerdon was a member of the fishing club and Sr. bowling league in North Ridgeville. His interests include Bowling , Deer Hunting , Fishing and Gardening. Clerdon worked for General Industries as a plastic molder for 40 years. Survivors include his wife of 65 years Faye (nee Kies) , daughters Janet (J.C.) Amonett of Kennesaw, Georgia , Susan (Craig) Taylor of Sheffield Village , Norm Smith of North Ridgeville , Dolores (James) Hopkins of Grafton , Edna (Eugene) Heard of Eaton Twp. , grandchildren Jeffrey , Melanie , Steven , Alicia , George , John , Andrea , Nathan , Kevin , Jennifer , Thomas and Isaac , 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Ezra and Melinda (nee Tenney) , brothers Virgil , Harley , sister Gladys Osborne. Family will receive friends 11 AM until time of service at 12Noon Saturday March 5, 2016 at the Fields United Methodist Church 34077 Lorain Rd. North Ridgeville , Ohio 44039. Br.
