Claudia J. Slisko (nee: Jarven) 63, of LaGrange Twp. passed away surrounded by her loving family at home on Wednesday October 31, 2012 following a long illness. She was born April 28, 1949 in Elyria. Claudia was a 1967 North Ridgeville High School graduate, and a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton. She treasured spending time with her daughters, and enjoyed various activities at her church, gardening, hiking, needlework, and quilting. Survivors include her loving husband of forty one years; William J. "Bill", two daughters; Rachel T. Lehman (Brian) of Parker, CO., and Susan M. Slisko of Reston, VA. Additional survivors include her mother; Rosemary Jarven (nee: Alflen) of North Ridgeville, three sisters; Linda Jarven of Grafton, Mary Trisch (Donald) of Bay Village, Ann M. Etzold (David) of Rockledge, FL, a brother; Daniel P. Jarven (Trudie) of Oberlin. Claudia was preceded in death by her father; Anthony Jarven.
