Clarice Elizabeth Cottrell, 85, died peacefully at home in Grafton, Ohio surrounded by her family on January 20, 2022. She was born in Ivydale, WV on July 18, 1936. Clarice spent most of her life as a homemaker and mother but after she and her husband Carlos retired to West Virginia she was very active in the Big Otter community. She was a member and former Sunday School teacher at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church. Clarice is survived by her daughters, Vicky Roche and Sheri Hawkins (Steve); by her sons, Kevin and Keith (Jennifer); grandchildren, Danny Roche, Courtney Hawkins, Alyssa Hawkins, David Cottrell, Tiffany Duncan Gray and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Carlos whom she was married to for 68 years; her son Richard. Clarice was the oldest of a long list of loving siblings; Evelina, Delmas (deceased), Ann, David (deceased), Dominique, Dina, Randy, and Dexter.
