Clarence Moon Sr. 71, of Wellington passed away Monday November 6, 2017 following a long illness. He served in the U.S. Army, and enjoyed time with his family, fishing, hunting, and bowling. Survivors include a daughter; Malissa G. Williams, a son; Jerry A. Moon Sr. (Shelley) of Wellington, five grandchildren; Justin Moon, Jerry Moon Jr., Evan Moon, Donald Williams Jr., Tommy Williams, two great grandchildren; Kaedyn Moon, Emma Moon, two sisters; Linda J. Turner (the late Ronald) of Wellington, Mary Lou Coffin (the late Lloyd) of Columbia , SC., a brother; Michael E. of Wellington. Clarence was preceded in death by his wife of thirty four years; Linda C. (nee: Adkins), his son; Clarence F. Moon Jr., his parents; Walter Sr. and Laura (nee: Hardy) Moon, a sister; Dawn Shinsky, a brother; Walter Moon Jr. (Lenora) and two granddaughters; Brooke Moon and Andrea Moon. A Celebration of Clarence's Life will be at 2:00 PM Sunday December 10, 2017 at Perfecting of the Saints Tabernacle 22910 State Rt. 511 Wellington, OH. Burial will be private at Greenwood Cemetery in Wellington where V.F.W. Post #1079 will provide full military honors.
