Clara Elinor Ross (nee Dagan) 99 of Elyria passed away Friday June 27,2014 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph following a brief illness. She was born January 27 , 1915 in Elyria. Clara worked for the Elyria Telephone Company for 25 years until her retirement in 1968. She was a lifetime member of Sacred Heart Church in Elyria . Clara enjoyed Dancing , Camping , Traveling , and Gardening. Survivors include her son Lyle (Mary Rita) of Litchfield , grandchildren Laura , Michael , Daniel (Kelly) , and Misty (Frank) Proszek , great-grandchildren Chase , Frankie , and Aaron , niece Connie (Richard) Brent. She was preceded in death by her husband David L in 1981 , her parents Andrew and Mary (nee Seelman) , sister Dorothy Hebebrand , her twin sister Katherine Conry , and brother Joseph. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Tuesday July 1 , 2014 at St. Jude Church 590 Poplar Street, Elyria , where family will receive friends from 10AM until time of Mass. Rev. Fr. Frank P. Kosem will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria. Family suggests those who wish may make donations to New Life Hospice 3500 Kolbe Rd. Lorain, Ohio 44053.
