Jean McKnight Whitmire Billingsley of Elyria passed away January 20, 2022 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake, Ohio. She was born July 4, 1962 in Elyria, and graduated from Elyria High School in 1981. Jean drove school bus for North Ridgeville City Schools and dearly loved her students and co workers. Her second love was her many Facebook friends here, England (Nikki) and Scotland (Fiona). Her third love was oval track racing at Lorain County Speedway and Sandusky Speedway since her childhood. Her most exciting experience was riding the push Jeep and pace car with her brother; Ed, and her niece; Meghan. Jean is survived by her mother; Marie McKnight-Stocking (Melvin), sister; Dee Comstock (Gary), brother; Ed McKnight (Maureen), niece; Meghan McKnight, uncle; Harry Mancuso, ex husband; Jeff Billingsley, two step sons; Joe Billingsley (Ali), Stephen Billingsley (Phoebe), four step grandchildren; Noah, Ellen, Sophia, and Josie, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews in Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania , and California. She was preceded in death by her son; Jimmy Billingsley, first husband; Lester Whitamire, her father; Leroy McKnight, grandparents; Sam and Jean Mancuso, Ed and Clara McKnight, and some aunts and uncles. There will be no visitation; graveside services will be at a later date.
