Cindy D. Mitchell (nee Buck), 59, of Avon passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at St. John Westshore in Westlake following a brief illness. She was born August 17, 1959 in Lebanon, PA. Cindy was a member of Amherst Eagles, Amherst American Legion. She enjoyed swimming, camping, cooking, having fun and spending time with her grandchildren. Cindy worked for North Ridgeville School System. Survivors include her partner John Ursem; daughters Kim (Timothy) Hood of Elyria, Julia Egan of Avon; grandchildren Ashlee and Bellarose Egan, Angelous and Lilith Hood; brother Gary Buck (Michael Bole) of Lorain. She was preceded in death by her husband's Timothy Egan, Terry Mitchell; parents David and May Buck (nee Boughter). There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Burial Private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests those who wish may make donations to the family c/o the funeral home.
