Christopher T. Nagel 28, of Grafton passed away unexpectedly on Saturday July 8, 2023.  He was born August 21, 1994 in Cleveland. Chris enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, he loved nature and camping. He was an avid hockey player, and enjoyed playing baseball and football.  Survivors include his parents; Sandra J. Guzik (Joseph) of Grafton, Gary E. Nagel of Grafton.  Additional survivors include his brothers and sisters; Zachary E. Nagel (Bridget) of Grafton, Kyle J. Nagel of California, Alex J. Guzik of Chicago, Claire E. Burgdorf (Bryan) of Amherst, Allison S. Guzik of North Ridgeville.  Additional survivors include his maternal grandparents; Thomas and Joyce Mitchell of Elyria.  Chris was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Eugene and MaeBelle Nagel. The family will receive friends from 3-7 PM on Thursday July 13, 2023 at The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. Elyria, Oh 44035 where funeral services will be at 7:00 PM immediately following visitation.  The Reverend Father John P. Seabold, Pastor of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton will officiate.  Burial will be private.
