Christopher John Gusky 43 of Elyria was taken home to be with the Lord Saturday October 22, 2016. He was born July 13 , 1973 in Elyria and was a graduate of Elyria West High School. Christopher had a great passion for playing the drums and had a great love of music. He was a member of Narcotics Anonymous. Survivors include his wife Kelly (nee Blakley) , parents Michael and Susan Gusky (nee Williams) of Elyria , brother Michael (Missy) Gusky of Hudson , several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his 2 sons Christian & Blake. Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Thursday October 27, 2016 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626 , where services will be held 10 AM Friday. Pastor Jim Deulley of Elyria Four Square Baptist Church will officiate.
