Charlotte R. Schuster (nee Franks), 91, of Elyria Twp. Passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain. She was born November 13, 1926 in Amherst. Charlotte was the co-owner of Donald A. Schuster Greenhouse for 50 years until her retirement in 1996. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society at St. Agnes Catholic Church. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and feeding the birds. Charlotte touched many lives and she will be greatly missed. Survivors include her daughters Carol Dryden of Avon, Barbara (Doug) Faith of Elyria, Diane Strebel of Elyria, Pat Schuster of Elyria, Rosemary (Chuck) Howington of Lake St. Louis, MO., and Phyllis (Tony) Andrusyszyn of Elyria; sons Donald M. (Joyce), Edward L. (Linda), Steven J. (Nancy), and Charles R. (Ella) all of Elyria; 22 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 2008; 3 sisters; 4 brothers. Family will receive friends 4-8 PM Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria. 440-322-4626.
