Charlotte F. Murry (nee: Kerlin) 81, of Elyria passed away Wednesday June 8, 2016 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake from heart failure. She was born August 18, 1934 in Versailles, PA. Charlotte enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, music, dancing, and art. Survivors include two daughters; Denise and Sheila Murry, three sons; David (Karen), Dewaine (Deborah), and Shawn all of Elyria. Additional survivors include grandchildren; Demetria, Melissa, Michele, Derek, Davey, five step grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren, three sisters; Carol Detar (Dan) of Del City, OK, Dolly Polasky (Bernard) of Sheffield, Debbie Lacey (John) of Lorain, two brothers; Andrew Kerlin of Oklahoma City, William Kerlin (Brenda) of LaGrange, and a sister in law; Beverly Swonger of Wellington. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband Cloyd Henry Murry whom she married on September 12, 1953, and her parents; Andrew and Frances (nee: Kostelac) Kerlin. Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Sunday June 12, 2016 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626 where closing prayers will be at 9:30 AM Monday. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Monday June 13, 2016 at St. Agnes Church 611 Lake Ave. Elyria.
