Charles E. Maskell, 80, of Elyria passed away Sunday December 1, 2013 at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin. He was born May 15, 1933 in Cleveland. Charles worked for the Mail Envelope Company until his retirement. Survivors include his wife of more than 50 years, Eunice (nee-Scott); daughter, Chris Maskell of Elyria; son, Chuck (Trina) Maskell Jr. of Elyria; sister, Lois (George) Vajda of Garfield Hts.; grandchildren, April (Danny) Taylor, Adam Maskell, T.J. (Nadine) McCroskey and Brittany McCroskey; great-grandchildren, Icoda, Kaley, Makena and Julie Taylor, Aramis, Nazier and Jayden McCroskey, and Hayden Stevenson. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Fern and Jane. The family will receive friends Friday December 6, 2013 4:00-7:00 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge (at State Rt. 57), Elyria where services will be held at 6:30 p.m..
