Charles P. "Chuck" Branch Sr., 84, of Grafton passed away Saturday December 20, 2014 at the Northridge Health Center in North Ridgeville following a brief illness. He was born November 18, 1930 in McKeesport, PA. and was a Grafton resident for most of his life. Chuck worked at the Modern Tool and Dye Company in Valley City for 30 years, retiring as a inspector in 1992. Survivors include his daughters, Valerie Coon of Avon and Kim Crawford of Oberlin; sons, Terry of North Ridgeville, Jamie of Wellington and Chuckie Jr., and Robbie both of Grafton; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; former wife, Rose Branch of Grafton; sister, Rose Popp of Elrama, PA.; bother, Joe Branch of Knoxville, TN; nephew, Jack Popp. The family will receive friends Tuesday (TODAY) 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 384765 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Chuck Behrens will Officiate. Burial will be at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Twp.
