Charlene Mae Atkinson (nee: Cutright) 88, of Elyria passed away Friday February 2, 2024 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center.  She was born December 27, 1935 in Kaymoore Bottom, WV.  Charlene had worked as a receptionist. She was an avid reader and enjoyed golfing.  Survivors include her daughters Denise LaFlam of Two Rivers, WI., Linda Stefek (John) of Elyria Twp., sons; David (Amy) of Elyria, John (Lisa) of Lutz, FL., Paul (Elizabeth) of Hilliard, OH. Additional survivors include sixteen grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.  Charlene was preceded in death by her parents; Carl and Mary (nee: Holiday) Cutright, a sister; Debbie Taylor, and a brother; Jerry Cutright.  Charlene requested that all funeral services be private.  The family suggests that memorial contributions in her memory be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home of Elyria (440)322-4626.
