Charleen Meissner (nee Bauer) 88 of Elyria passed away Friday September 4, 2015 at Life Care Center of Westlake following a lengthy illness. She was born January 28, 1927 in Elyria and was a graduate of Elyria High School. Charleen enjoyed Playing Bridge , Swimming , Watching the sunset over the lake and Travel. She was a devoted church member and a member of the Elyria Womens Club. Survivors include her grandchildren Julie Carpenter , Carolyn Meissner-Gibson , Katherine Meissner , Devin Meissner , William Wendell , Tracy Wendell , and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Carolyn (nee Olmutz) , sons Mark and Edward.
