Chad Michael Vance 34, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly Wednesday February 22, 2017 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. He was born January 2, 1983 in Wurzburg, Germany. Chad enjoyed golfing, playing poker, darts, and spending time with family and friends, he was also Cleveland's # 1 Sports Fan. Survivors include his son Brayden Michael Vance of Grafton; father Gary Vance of Sullivan; mother Denise Evans (nee Gage) and step-father Charles Evans Sr.; sister Jennifer Ann Francis of Elyria; brothers Kyle Vance of Wellington, and Charles Evans Jr. of Elyria; paternal grandmother Virginia King of Sullivan; cousins Janelle, Amanda, April, Brittany, Ray and Tyler; numerous aunts and uncles; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Harold and Emilie Gage; paternal grandfather Lonnie Vance and Bennie King.
