Celia M. Siek (nee: Ford) 90, of Elyria passed away Thursday June 22, 2023 at The Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin.  She was born December 30, 1932 in Cleveland.  Celia had worked for Grief Brothers for twenty seven years; she was devoted to her family.  Survivors include four daughters; Celia Sieker (Dave) of Grafton, Cynthia Blackburn (Bill) of North Carolina, Cherri Resar (Mark) of Wellington, Karen Shepherd (Dan) of Elyria, two sons; Mark Siek (Scott Anderson) of North Ridgeville, Patrick Siek (Deb) of Oklahoma.  Additional survivors include seven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, a sister; Elizabeth DeFrancesco of Lyndhurst.  She was preceded in death by her husband; John M., a daughter; Marion Patricia Siek, a son; Michael Siek, a grandson; Sgt. Daniel Shepherd, a great grandson; Conner Denger, and her parents; Cyril and Janet (nee: Carmichael) Ford, and a sister; Janet Lindo.  A Celebration of Celia's life will be 11:00 AM Friday June 30, 2023 at The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
