Carolyn S. Foglyano, (nee-Townsend), 85, of Elyria passed away Sunday at Northridge Health Center in North Ridgeville.

She was born February 27, 1939 in Kingston, WV. And lived in Elyria for most of her life.

Carol was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and was the Elyria Elk's Club Mother of the Year in 2019.

She enjoyed watching T.V., gardening and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Laurie (Gary) McLaughlin and Toni Sue (Rick) Swiney; son, Mark (Annie) Foglyano; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren and her sister, Virginia Roig.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 2018.

The family will receive friend 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday February 15, 2025 in the funeral home.

The Rev. Fr. Joseph Scallco, pastor of St. Jude Church will Officiate.

Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
