Carolyn D. Reinders (nee Frye), 69 of Grafton passed away suddenly Friday December 9, 2016 at University Hospitals Main Campus-Cleveland. She was born September 29, 1947 in Virginia , and she was a 1966 graduate of Elyria High School. Her love of animals lead to a 40 year career showing and training dogs. Carolyn was a Professional Dog Handler specializing in Westie Terriers. She traveled the Country, including wins at the Westminster Kennel Club. Carolyn has shown other breeds and owned grooming shops. In her free time she enjoyed spending time at home with family. Survivors include her daughters Stephanie (Michael III) Scavnicky and Lindsay Reinders both of Grafton; grandchildren Madeline and Austin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Wilford C. in 2011; parents Eugene Sr. and Lenore (nee East); brother Eugene Jr. Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Wednesday December 14, 2016 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
