Carol J. Maxwell, (nee-Travise), 80, of Elyria passed away quickly and peacefully at the Cleveland Clinic Avon Campus on Saturday August 6, 2022. Carol was a kind, gentle, caring person who was always positive and never complained. She loved her family more than anything. She was the best wife and mother anyone could hope for. Survivors include her husband, Burton David Maxwell along with her four children, Jeanette Ziegler (Ken), Joanne Whitesel (Todd), Steve Lewis (Debbie) and Alan Lewis (Sara). Carol also has 11 loving grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Sr. and Eleanor Travise, and her three siblings, Ralph Travise Jr., June O'Connor, and Ron Travise, and her first husband Ronald G. Lewis. Interment will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH., along with a private memorial ceremony.
