Carol A. McCourt (nee: Mitchell) 57, of Elyria passed away Wednesday May 30, 2012 at EMH Healthcare in Elyria following a brief illness. She was born November 1, 1954 in Elyria. Carol was a licensed cosmetologist and owned her own beauty salon. She treasured spending time with family and friends, loved riding horses, and enjoyed cooking, decorating her home and gardening. Survivors include her husband of twenty nine years; Rich, a daughter; Heather Sherrill of Elyria, a son; Shawn Anderson (Katie) of Clinton Twp., MI, additional survivors include her mother; Alta Mitchell of Elyria, a grandson; Luke Anderson, a brother; Larry Mitchell (Sandy) of Grafton, a niece Ashley Mitchell, a nephew; Daniel Mitchell both of Grafton. Carol was preceded in death by her father; Dewey Mitchell, ex husband; Fred Sherrill.
