Carol A. Singer (nee: Knipper) 86, of Elyria passed away Wednesday September 10, 2025 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center following a long illness.  She was born December 9, 1938 in Elyria.  Carol treasured spending time with her family and friends, travel, reading, and going to restaurants.  Survivors include a daughter; Patricia K. Hopkins of LaGrange, a son; Jeffrey M. Singer (Laura) of Elyria.  Additional survivors include six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a brother; Robert Lee Knipper (Ann) of North Ridgeville.  Carol was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years; Clifford Leonard Singer, a daughter; Joanne R. Singer, a son; Todd A. Singer, and her parents; Albert John and Alma Wanda (nee: Sanders) Knipper.  The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Tuesday September 16, 2025 at The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
