Carol Ann Kerstetter (nee: Tomasheski) 83, of Elyria passed away Monday March 22, 2021 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born December 10, 1937 in Elyria. Carol was a 1955 Elyria High School graduate, and had worked as a shoe sales consultant for Higbee's and Dillard's. She was a member of St. Agnes Church in Elyria. Carol always placed her family first, and enjoyed gardening and watching Cleveland Sports. Survivors include two daughters; Kathy Kerstetter, Kristy Sawyers (Gordon). Additional survivors include seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a sister; Linda F. Lakocy (Richard). Carol was preceded in death by her husband of sixty two years; James Lamar, a son James A. (Tammy), a daughter; Kelly Strickler (Tim), her parents; Joseph and Helen (nee: McCara) Tomasheski, and two brothers; Daniel and Larry Tomasheski.
