Carol A. Wilson, (nee-Kern), 81, of Grafton passed away Thursday June 13, 2024 at Brookdale Westlake Village following a long illness. She was born March 11, 1943 in Akron. Carol graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse throughout her career. She was a member of LaPorte United Methodist Church and enjoyed arts and crafts, traveling and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband Gary F. Wilson; daughter, Kimberle D. Wilson of North Ridgeville; son, Scott F. Wilson of Grove City, OH.; grandchildren, Tayler (Raj), Seth, Bryce and Macey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Delton and Blanche Kern and a sister, Kay Earlenbaugh. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday June 22, 2024 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd., (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services. The Rev. Chuck Behrens will Officiate. Burial will follow at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township.
