Carol Jean Holstein (nee Webber), 78, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at her home. She was born May 23, 1943 in Elyria and was a 1961 graduate of Midview High School. Carol was part owner of Jim's Upholstery. She was a 50 year member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, Laurette Sigma Chapter,where she served as President of the City Council of all the sorority's, longstanding member of the Women of the Moose, and a member of Elyria Seniors Women's Fellowship. Carol enjoyed bowling, casino trips, staying in contact with close friends and was a 50 year member of Celebrating Cookie Lady. Survivors include her daughters, Debra (Samuel) McBryer of Lorain, Tammy (Ray) Lord of Milton, FL. and Donna Holstein of Lorain; sisters, Anita (John) Wheatley of Grafton, Thelma Lowery of Elyria, and Kathy Magyar ( Allyn Soper); brother, Robert (Janet) of Goodyear, AZ; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 2014; parents, Charles and Lucille Webber (nee Green).
