IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carol Ann
(Frank) Masulis
August 16, 1934 – July 21, 2025
Carol A. Masulis, 90, of Cleveland, Ohio (and originally from Chicago, Illinois), passed away peacefully on Monday, July 21st 2025, at Western Reserve Hospice (Medina, Ohio) in the presence of her daughter Karen.
Born on August 16th 1934, Carol lived a long, full life marked by grace, resilience, and kindness. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who brought joy to everyone she met. Carol had a generous spirit and a strong heart, always putting family first and offering support and wisdom to those around her.
Carol's happiest recent 'hobby' was spending time with her grandsons Jacob and Alex. She held the boys as babies, played with them, attended Jacob's dance events, Alex's orchestra concerts, and their many sports contests, and smiled so widely whenever she proudly talked about them to anyone. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, and she was known for a quick wit, and positive energy that lit up a room.
Carol is survived by her daughter Karen, grandsons Jacob and Alex, her nephews Joey and Robbie Moore along with Lorraine and Joe, her cousins and several extended family who will continue to cherish her memory and celebrate the love she gave so freely. She was preceded in death by her son James, husband Leonard, Diane her niece, Barbara her sister, Patrick her brother-in-law, Stelle, Gertrude, Theresa and Ann her aunts, Ron, Richard, and Dorothy her cousins, her parents Joseph and Katherine, and her grandparents Paulina and Anton Czudak.
A memorial service will be held in Chicago at some time in the near future and will be laid to rest in St. Casimir's Cemetery in Chicago.
Her legacy of strength, independence, humor and love will live on in all who knew her.
