Obituary

Carol L. Feikle, (nee-Gray), 67, of LaGrange walked freely into Heaven with her family by her side at the Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake on Monday February 4, 2013. She was born September 22, 1945 in Cleveland and was a LaGrange resident for the past 7 years. Carol was a talented artist that had a love for all the arts. She is survived by the love of her life, husband, Bruce to whom she was married to for 46 years; daughters, Allison (Mark) Arend of Plain City, OH., Leslie (Brett) Heighberger of LaGrange, and Britt (David) Ellmer of Columbus, GA.; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rose, Sarah, Mariel, Alex, Gavin, Katherine, Blake, and Caroline. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Judith Gray and a sister, Alice Maher. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:30 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. The Rev. Kathy Ketchum will Officiate. Burial will be private. Carol valiantly fought Multiple Sclerosis with strength and courage for 30 years.
