Carl J. Rose 55 of Elyria passed away Wednesday July 8, 2015 following a lengthy illness at his residence with his family by his side. He was born September 30, 1959 in Monongahela, Pa. Upon graduating from High School Carl went on to receive his Bachelor's degree from Penn State University and preceded to obtain his Doctorate of Jurisprudence with Honors from Cleveland State University. Carl enjoyed music , karaoke , attending his daughters soccer games . He had a great sense of humor , robust personality , and he always surrounded himself with fun loving people. Survivors include his wife Kay (nee Derk) , daughters Morgan and Lauren , father Carl , sister Joyce Rose of Florida , Aunt Philomena and 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Nancy (nee Bumpers).
