Bruce James Jackson Jr., 61, of Lorain passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at his home. He was born December 19, 1959 in Bay Village. Bruce enjoyed video games, superhero movies, was an avid Michigan Wolverine fan. He was an extremely hard worker as a pipefitter for local # 42. He will be deeply missed by his sons, Bruce James Jackson III, Derek Jackson (Angela Arocho) ; grandchildren Devin and Jada Jackson; fiancee Debra Carrion Debra's son Peter Valasquez Jr.; mother Sarah H. Jackson; sisters Jackie (David) Jones, Marcia Jackson, Tania Paden; brother, Will (Jen) Jackson. He was preceded in death by his father Bruce James Jackson Sr.; sister, Lisa; brother Curtis. Family will receive friends 3-6PM Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626., where funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, March 1, 2021. Per CDC guidelines social distancing will be observed. MASKS ARE REQUIRED per family request.
