Brenda "Sue" Reeves (nee Melton), 73, of Elyria passed away Friday, May 17, 2019 at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain following a lengthy illness. She was born April 9 , 1946 in Harriman, TN. and was a 1964 graduate of Elyria High School, and went on to receive her associates degree from Lorain County Community College. Sue worked for the Elyria Moose lodge 778 as a Secretary , and was a lifelong member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, tending her flower gardens, traveling, but mostly spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband of 53 years Tom; sons Tim (Tammy) of Elyria, Ben (Stephanie) of Grafton; grandchildren Kayla, Zack (Kait), Ashley (Zach), Brad, Alexandria, Cassandra, Nicholas; great grandchildren Karter, Coen; sisters Shirley (Eddie) Norris of Hendersonville, TN, Ruby Fisher of Elyria. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Wilma Melton (nee Barger); brother Albert Melton.
