Brenda E. Byrne, (nee-Clow), 63, of Columbia Station passed away Wednesday January 2, 2013 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Avon following a long illness. She was born December 18, 1949 in Portland, OR. And was a Elyria resident for most of her life. Brenda and her husband were owner-operators of the former Mattress Showcase store in Elyria. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elyria and enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Timothy; daughter, Kelly Moore of Augusta, GA.; son, Sean Byrne of Elyria; 3 grandchildren; father, LaVern Clow of The Villages, FL.; sisters, Sherry Lyon of LaGrange, Wendy Pritt and Trudy Rindfleisch, both of Vermilion; brothers, Doug Clow of Elyria, Jody Clow of Jenks, OK., and Bruce Clow of Amherst. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dolores Clow. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be Saturday January 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church 320 Middle Ave., Elyria. The Rev. Charles Diedrick, pastor, will be the Celebrant. Memorial contributions can be made to the donor's choice.
