Brandon Sergio Alvarez, 44 of Rocky River, passed away suddenly April 3, 2024 in Westlake, Ohio at Ames Family Hospice where he battled Cancer with dignity and grace.

Born in Lorain, Ohio July 24, 1979, Brandon graduated from Lorain High School and worked in various places.  He had a very hard life and suffered immensely until he rode his bicycle to Cleveland where he entered Recovery Resources where his real life began.  He was in recovery for the last 8 years and was very proud of his success in the program.  Brandon was a lover of wrestling, he was a gigantic movie buff and he was a lover of apple juice (couldn't get enough).  His family will miss his quick wit and ability to make them laugh.  Brandon was the light of our lives and we will greatly miss him.

Brandon will be deeply missed by his mother and step-father Debbie (nee Riley) and Edward Super of Oberlin; father and step-mother Sergio and Darlene Alvarez; siblings Adam & Aaron Septaric and Sergio & Stephanie Alvarez; Step-sisters, Sarah & Jessica Super; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kenneth (Shirley) Riley and Patricia (Bacil) Frymier and his paternal grandparents Sergio and Beneranda Alvarez along with a variety of other relatives.

A private service will be attended by family at a later date.
