Bobbie J. Hoover, age 77, of Grafton, passed away on June 27, 2023. He was born In Wayland, Kentucky on June 17, 1946 to parents Clyde and Barbara (nee: Turpin). He worked for Lear Romec and as a part-time K9 police officer for Sheffield Village. He proudly served his country in the US Army and was a Governor for the Elyria Moose Lodge. Bobbie enjoyed singing, dancing, karaoke, music, and shooting pool on the OVLS and BCA leagues where he served as chaplain of his team, "The Dreamers."  He was an extremely proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Survivors include his daughter, Barbara (Danny) Oestreicher; son, Bobby (Christy) Hoover; grandchildren, Michael Gullett, Cameron Hoover, Jessica Buchdrucker, Sophia Sacy, and great-grandchild, Jayden Gullet. He is preceded in death by his wife, Janet (nee: Stanislawski); parents, Clyde and Barbara; sister, Belinda Anney; and brother, Clyde Hoover. There are private serves for immediate family and a Celebration of Life to be planned at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home in Elyria.
