Billy Barnes Gregory passed away peacefully on Saturday February 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 17, 1934 in Rocky Gap, Virginia, to Trubie and Irene Gregory.

Billy was a 60 year member of Local 18-International Union of Operating Engineers and worked mainly for Jackmas Plumbing until retiring in 1997. He also owned and operated Gregory's Farm in Eaton Township from 1974 -2015. Billy leaves behind his brother Oren (Janet) Gregory, his sons, Billy (Rhonda) and Paul (Kim) Gregory, grandchildren, Jessica, Carson, Michael, Aden and Ashley Gregory.

Billy was preceded in his passing by his wife since 1960, Mary Sue Gregory, his sisters, Shirley (Eddie) Sutphin, Alma (Thomas)Stowers, Jean (Ansel) Overbey, and his Brothers, Trubie Jr. (Marie), Donald (Rita), and Jimmy Gregory.

Billy enjoyed  enjoyed farming, collecting coins, sitting with friends on his porch, and spending time with family, especially his grandkids.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday March 2, 2025 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria.

The Rev. Chuck Behrens will Officiate.

Graveside Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday March 3, 2025 at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township.
