Betty P. Wolf, (nee-Frank), 81, of Elyria passed away Monday May 14, 2012 at the Lifecare Center of Elyria following a long illness. She was born October 19, 1930 in Hollidaysburg, PA. and was a Elyria resident since 1956. Betty was a volunteer at Friendship Animal Protective League in Elyria, was a avid Cleveland Indians Baseball and Elyria High School Pioneer sports fan and enjoyed sewing, playing cards, bingo, bowling, fishing and camping. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy (Chris) Reddinger of Elyria; son, Theodore "Ted" (Donna) Wolf of Elyria; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; sister, Catherine Smith of Hamburg, NY; brothers, George Frank of Duncanville, PA. and Steve Frank of Elyria. She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Wolf in 2004, sister, Lillian Powley, and brother, Bernard Frank. The family will receive friends Wednesday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. 440-322-4626. Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Chris Robinson, Chaplain of New Life Hospice will Officiate. Burial will be at North Murray Ridge Cemetery, Elyria.
