Betty R. Diederick (Schwan) 83, of Eaton Twp. passed away Saturday March 12, 2011 at EMH Regional Medical Center following a short illness. She was born February 20, 1928 in Elyria. Betty was self employed as a quilter, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and had raised goats. Survivors include two daughters; Rosemarie Diederick of Maine, June Kopacz of Alabama, a son; Howard Diederick of Elyria and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty one years; Edmund, her parents; Wilbert and Mildred (nee: Arnold) Schwan, and a brother; Howard Schwan.
